It’s always a pleasure to be recommended for your services. At Claire and Ernest’s wedding I was recommended by the Master of Ceremonies, Noble. I have had the pleasure of working with him on more than one occasion and he does an excellent job.
Claire and Ernest were getting married at the St John Fisher RC Church in Harrow with a reception to follow at The Grange in Northwood.
Claire looked happy and confident as I photographed her getting ready with the help of her three bridesmaids. As I always like to do I also took pictures of the rings and Claire’s bouquet which was a mixture of red and white roses. Attached to it was a picture of her beloved dad in a silver frame with pearls attached. He passed away recently and Claire wanted him in this way to be a part of this very important day.
Inside the church the guests and Ernest waited for Claire to arrive. She was walked down the aisle by her mum and her brother. Ernest looked very proud and there were lots of glances and smiles passed between them throughout the service.
The church was lovely and bright, so I was able to get a lot of indoor photographs and stay out of the drizzly weather outside. I particularly like the photograph of Ernest smiling happily while he is sitting next to Claire in the church. They are holding hands and he looks a very happy man.
Claire looked beautiful in her short-sleeved wedding gown and long veil. Ernest wore a beige jacket with burgundy trousers which coordinated with his handkerchief and tie, topped off with a red rose in his buttonhole. After the ceremony I took more photographs inside the church before moving on with the wedding party to the reception at The Grange. Here I was able to make use of their fine furniture to take some gorgeous photographs of Claire by herself and then together with Ernest.
The venue had very attractive gardens and luckily the drizzle from earlier in the day had dried up. That meant we could go outside and get some more photographs amongst the greenery.
Finally it was time to enter the marquee and for MC Noble to work his magic. All the guests had a great time and Claire and Ernest were able to relax and enjoy themselves with their friends and family.
I was a great day and a lot of fun to work with Noble again. I hope that Claire and Ernest treasure their wedding album and remember their perfect day when they look at the photographs.
