Photographs by PhotoAlbert Wedding Photographer, Egham and Surrey
It was a lovely September day and perfect weather for a wedding. This time I was at Shepperton to capture memories for Lorraine and Chris.
We started off at the Warren Lodge Hotel where the bride and the bridesmaids were getting ready. There were two very important guests in attendance, Lorraine and Chris’ son who was the pageboy and their 20-month old daughter who was one of the flower girls, you can see her in the photo getting ready with mum.
Lorraine looked beautiful in her fitted wedding gown cut with lace embellishments. It was very pretty and you can see the detail and the keyhole back from the photo I took after the ceremony in the gardens of the hotel and from the gorgeous picture of her in the arched doorway of the church.
The groom looked nervous at first while he was waiting for Lorraine to arrive at the church. Both he and his groomsmen were wearing dark blue suits with white waistcoats and pale blue neckties. This combined perfectly with the bridesmaids who wore pale blue dresses.
Once was Lorraine was beside him, Chris relaxed and throughout the service, the couple didn’t stop smiling. On the way out of the church, the guests threw confetti and I was asked by to take a picture of both of them in silhouette at the church doors.
After the ceremony, the bride and groom and all the guests made their way to the Warren Lodge Hotel, which has a lovely Marina next to it and a terrace overlooking the water. I was kept busy capturing the atmosphere as and their guests relaxed and started to really enjoy themselves.
My favourite photograph is of and sitting by the river with their feet splashing in the water, it’s a natural happy photograph.
Another picture I like is the photo of Lorraine and Chris sitting together looking out at the river with the yachts in the background. It’s very romantic.
The reception was fun and the room was decorated in the wedding theme of white and blue. It was a day filled with laughter and happiness and it was nice to be a part of it. Everybody had a great time and I was able to get some photographs which I hope will make treasured memories for Lorraine and Chris.
