I loved you then, I love you still, I always have and I always will!
Whilst Terry and Andy may not have been official childhood sweethearts, the romantic in me likes to think there was a little spark ignited during their primary school years together, which continued to flicker for many years to come. Every love story is beautiful, but this might be one of my favourites….
As a wedding photographer in Egham and Surrey, I think I have witnessed every possible wedding accessory, from bride and groom ice sculptures to wedding favour matches in the shape of hearts! Yet for Terry and Andy, there were no gimmicks necessary! The smiles were genuine, from the lighthearted jokes told by the groom to the heartfelt poem read by he bride, everybody knew they were in the true presence of love.
The bride looked radiant in an ivory gown, with a voluminous fit and flare silhouette, pulled in at the waist with a satin belt. Her brightly coloured bouquet, toned beautifully with the grooms tie and perfectly reflected the intensity of her emotions.
The wedding ceremony was held at Guildford registry office. The guests were small in number, but big on smiles and support for the couple, some of whom had attended the same primary school as he newly weds. As the ceremony ended, there were just seconds to get some photographs in the fading daylight, yet with a couple so natural in front of the lens, the results were beautiful.
The guests were treated to a warm wedding reception at Woking Conservative Club, charmed by small details such as photographs of the newly married couple in their school days and heart shaped note papers to leave a personalised message.
Terry and Andy’s wedding was a story with a happy ending, but with a love so pure and true…I get the feeling this is just the beginning. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the happy couple and thank you for allowing me to be part of your special day.
