Photographs by Photo Albert Wedding Photographer, Egham Surrey
I am often asked to do a wedding shoot when there isn’t an actual wedding. It’s usually because the bride and groom are getting married, or have already married, elsewhere.
This was the case with Sanaa and Mohammed’s photo shoot. They had come over from Morocco and they wanted a series of wedding shots taken in London.
Sanaa looked beautiful in a traditional white wedding gown from the Bridal Gallery, which has a wonderful selection of gorgeous gowns to buy or rent. Sanaa combined her gown with a tiara and a long veil with a bouquet of white and pale pink roses which were perfect. Mohammad too looked stylish in his blue suit with a white rose buttonhole.
We started off by taking some pictures inside the hotel. They were staying at the Melia White House which is a four-star hotel in Regent’s Park. Its common areas are full of interesting paintings and its décor is a mixture of the traditional and the avant-garde. The marble floors and regency furniture made it a perfect backdrop.
Outside, Sanaa and Mohammed had a Rolls Royce waiting which took them away to Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace. Luckily it was a fine day and we were able to make the most of the good weather to create some lovely outside shots.
I love the photo of the happy couple outside the gates of Regents Park and the photo of them looking into each other’s eyes on the wooden bridge. They look happy and serene, so comfortable with each other. That’s one of the advantages of having a wedding shoot before or after the big event, there are no wedding nerves to contend with.
Sanaa made sure she finished off her wedding attire with statement shoes. You can see from the photo she’s wearing Christian Louboutin heels with that famous red sole.
The photoshoot didn’t last long, but I managed to get some photographs that I hope Saana and Mohamed will treasure. It was an enjoyable day and I wish them all the best for the future.
