It’s always a great compliment to be recommended by another couple I’ve photographed. This time it was Emily and Steve who were married at the Blacknest Golf and Country Club. They recommended me to their friends Kerrieanne and David who fell in love with their pictures.
When I spoke to them, they had already looked at my website and they said they also liked many other pictures from my portfolio. Their favorites were pictures of Alexandra and Hussain which were taken in Richmond Park and around London. They had many non formal, relaxed, and full of fun photos which reflected their personality. That was exactly what Kerrieanne and David preferred and what I love to do.
The wedding ceremony took place at All Saints Church in Farringdon. I arrived early as I always like to take photographs of the couple’s rings and other details. It also gave me time to capture the guests as they arrived.
Kerrieanne looked stunning in her wedding gown. It had a long train and beautiful button detail at the back. Her bouquet included orange flowers which combined with the seat decorations of floor length orange material tied in bows with white flowers attached. It made a pretty setting against the brown and beige décor of the church.
The ceremony was a happy event, the bride and groom smiled a lot, they were obviously very happy in each other’s company.
As they left the church they were showered with confetti and then they both climbed into a gorgeous pale blue Fiat for the journey to the reception.
The reception was held, like Emily and Steve’s wedding at the Blacknest Golf and Country Club near Farnham.
Once we were there Kerrieanne and David made the most of a golf buggy to pose for some fun photographs in the club grounds. I also managed to get some romantic shots of them on the bridge amongst the trees. Then it was back to fun antics as they lit flares to create orange smoke around them as they posed.
I like the photograph of Kerrieanne holding David by one leg as she tries to lift him up. I also love the photos of them both having a really good giggle, especially when they are in the golf buggy.
Kerrieanne’s Uncle very kindly let the couple use his classic Buick and we got some great photos of them both outside and inside the car.
The speeches started shortly after we came back from the photo shoot. Everyone had a good laugh at the speeches and then it was time for everyone to enjoy the meal accompanied by live music provided by the MiaCats.
It was a lovely, happy day and I hope Kerrieanne and Steve will treasure their photographs. If you want me to document your wedding I am a wedding photographer from Surrey, but I also travel, especially around London. You get in touch with me by filling in the contact form on my website.
